We sat down with Oboe Wu (Product Manager of SOLIDWORKS Model Based Definition) to discuss the the importance of using MBD for minimizing the re-creation of data when working with partners and your supply chain. Oboe discussed how suppliers are hoping to save time by bypassing the 2D design data, and just using the 3D data.
