Artec 3D’s commitment to user satisfaction shines through in the upgraded Artec Remote app. Through the app’s latest updates, 3D scanning has become even more accessible with new distinct functionalities, each catering to different user needs: enhanced tablet compatibility and new features for Artec Ray II.
With a more adaptive and user-friendly interface tailored specifically for tablets, Artec Ray II users can enjoy an improved scanning experience controlled from either their smartphones or tablets. Additionally, the latest update brings a host of fixes and optimizations when working with the Ray II, including enhanced stability, a great reduction in app size, and a couple of tweaks to existing functionality.
This next-gen application also allows Artec customers to seamlessly connect to their Artec Ray I or Ray II scanner via WiFi using any iOS and Android device supporting the app. With just a few taps, the scanner is activated and controlled, with 3D data from the scene or object captured and saved directly to the scanner’s USB flash drive (Ray II) or SD card (Ray I).
The ultimate companion and a must-have for hassle-free scanning with Ray I and II, the app functions like clockwork: connect with your scanner and start scanning – all on the screen of your smartphone or tablet. Artec Remote also offers advanced optimization features, allowing you to customize scanner settings, fine-tune resolution and image capturing, and more, ensuring the best results.
With the app, users also have immediate communication with Artec support directly from their device: users of any Artec 3D scanner can reach out at any moment for specialized help or quick tips to make the scanning process smoother and more efficient than ever before.
With access to their accounts on MyArtec, users can easily view information on any purchased or rented Artec scanner and Artec Studio license, as well as provide feedback from one easy-to-use platform.
The latest version of the Artec Remote app is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
