SOLIDWORKS World 2015 features more than 200 sessions led by design and engineering experts. These sessions will bring you up to speed on the latest SOLIDWORKS features as well as give you the best training to make the most of what 3D CAD has to offer. Over the next few weeks, we’ll preview a number of sessions that you’ll want to include on your calendar.
Today we’re going to preview a #SWW15 session from longtime SWUGN committee member Phil Sluder titled, “SOLIDWORKS Tips and Tricks 2015”. Sluder is a mechanical engineer and CEO and TriAxial Design and Analysis, Inc. – a full-service design consulting firm. No stranger to mechanical engineering, Sluder is a Certified SOLIDWORKS Instructor, a CSWP, and leader of the San Diego SWUGN Chapter. If you’re an advanced user, looking for tips to make your work more efficient while adding new skills to your tool belt, Sluder’s session is a must.
Session Description: This presentation will allow you to experience a fast-paced session of tips focusing on how to use SOLIDWORKS 2015 in the real world. These tips will not be found in the help file—they come from years of learning, teaching, and using it daily in a small dynamic design environment.
What You Can Expect: You will learn uncommon ways to use common SOLIDWORKS tools with an emphasis on why some tools are used over others. The session will also explore alternate methods to solve problems involved with parts, assemblies, and drawings to name a few.
When: Tuesday, February 10, 2015
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Room: North, 121A-C
